Our process
Seven steps, requirement to execution
The same disciplined route for every requirement — a product to source, a vessel to charter, cargo to move or a supplier to find. You set out what you need; StarXCO coordinates the parties and the paperwork that follow.
The route
What happens at each step
No step is skipped and no introduction is made before verification. That is what keeps a StarXCO-facilated transaction defensible for every party involved.
- 01
Requirement
You provide the product, asset or service requirement you want to fulfil — specification, volume, origin or destination, and target timing where known.
- 02
Assessment
StarXCO reviews the requirement and identifies realistic ways to meet it, including the documents, verifications and logistics it will involve.
- 03
Sourcing
Suitable suppliers, buyers, vessels, trucks, logistics providers or other counterparties are identified from our network and the wider market.
- 04
Coordination
StarXCO facilitates communication between the relevant parties, keeping positions, questions and schedules in one orderly channel.
- 05
Commercial terms
The parties discuss and agree the applicable commercial terms directly — price, quantity, delivery basis, inspection and payment structure.
- 06
Documentation
The relevant transaction and supporting documentation is coordinated: commercial, product and maritime papers tracked through to issue.
- 07
Execution
The transaction, shipment, charter, delivery or service proceeds on the agreed terms, with StarXCO coordinating until it is complete.
Division of work
What you provide, what we handle
A clear requirement: product or asset, specification and quantity, origin/destination, target dates, and the authority to proceed. Company details for verification.
Assessment, counterparty sourcing and verification, introductions, communication coordination, documentation tracking and follow-through to execution.
Commercial terms, contracts and payment. StarXCO facilitates and coordinates; the principals negotiate and contract directly with each other.
Confidentiality of your requirement and counterparty identities until both sides agree to be introduced, and honesty about what is and is not achievable.
