How we handle your information
This notice explains what happens to the details you send through this website. It is written to be read in a minute, not to hide anything in the middle of it.
In short
The plain version
We collect only what you type into the contact or quote form. We use it to answer you and to work on the requirement you described. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and this website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
What we collect
The details you enter in a form: your name, company, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and the requirement you describe — product, specification, quantity, origin, destination, timing and any notes you add.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, assess the requirement, identify suitable counterparties, and keep a record of the commercial correspondence for the purpose of the transaction you raised.
Who sees it
StarXCO personnel handling your enquiry. Details of a requirement are shared with a prospective counterparty only with your consent, or where the documentation of a transaction you have agreed to requires it.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are relayed to our email inbox by FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service. The message is delivered to, and stored in, our mail system. This website itself keeps no database of enquiries.
The details
Your choices and our obligations
We process your enquiry because you asked us to respond to it, and because we have a legitimate commercial interest in corresponding with parties who approach us about a transaction.
Enquiry and transaction correspondence is retained while the relationship is active and for as long afterwards as is necessary for business records, dispute handling and legal obligations. Details of requirements that do not proceed to a transaction are not retained indefinitely.
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the contact address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
This website sets no cookies for advertising or analytics, and embeds no tracking pixels or third-party advertising scripts. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain.
Some enquiries relate to counterparties outside Nigeria. Where a requirement involves parties in other jurisdictions, information necessary to that requirement may be shared with those parties at your request or with your agreement.
The site is served over HTTPS, and enquiry data travels by encrypted connection. We limit access to enquiry correspondence to those who need it to act on your requirement.
